Let's face it. This isn't about games anymore.
Old Time Radio
It just occurred to me that I haven’t mentioned my OTR radio station on here before. You can see the link in my bookmarks section, but you may not have tried it.
Basically, if you have ITunes, Winamp, or most any other streaming audio program (I prefer Media Player Classic), then it will come up automatically when you click this link. It's got over a days worth of original stories, and it runs 24/7.
Before you click on it, though, you should know what you’re going to get. There’s no Amos & Andy, no Abbot & Costello, or the great Gildersleaves. These are only the radio shows that I thought were particularly good. Now, I have a penchant for the macabre, very original, interesting, mysterious and visceral stories. The radio plays here have been hand picked (by me) because I think they offer the best in terms of original story, characterization, and mystery that the radio shows have to offer.
Someday, I’m hoping to finish an old-time radio script that I’ve been working on, then getting some actors together to help me create original content to add to the station. If I ever get enough time to put it together, you can bet I’ll tell you about it here.
So, if you are interested in old-time radio, or if you’re just bored and want some background noise, click on the link and give it a listen. If there’s a show you particularly like, or a public-domain show you would like to recommend, drop me a line. All of my contact info is available at www.brandg.com.
I hope you enjoy it.
